ABOUT THE BAND | ![]() |
| ABOUT THE BAND We formed a Punk band in January of 2004. Our band consisted of Dan, Ben, Chris, and Alex. After a full eight months of us making almost no progress, (aside from a nifty little song titled, “Reject from the 60’s”) we all got pissed off. Alex decided that he hated our musical direction (Punk) so he persuaded us to try other musical genres, (Metal). (Big Mistake) So we had one big disastrous Metal practice at which we realized just how much Metal, (or at least our Metal,) sucked. So we decided to stay true to our routes and stick with Punk. Alex didn't like that decision so he stopped coming to practice early this year. So, it was about March when Dan (Chris helped) wrote the guitar part for our first real song. (A week later, Dan wrote the lyrics.) The song is about how corporations really suck, it became known as "The Capitalist Song." (I know that the name is lame, the song is a lot better!) Afterwards, Dan and Ben wrote some more songs and by the time of our first gig we had a grand total of seven songs (A twenty minute set). Somewhere in all of this, we went through about a dozen or so band names until arriving at our final one, “BadTrip.” So, now we have Chris on the drums, Ben on the bass, and Dan on guitar and vocals. In other stuff, we are the only band (That we know of) on garageband.com that calls their music “Anarcho-Punk” so don't bother clicking on the link, it only comes back to us. As for “BadTrip” being a political band, we are about as far South West on the political compass as you can go without falling off the edge. If you didn't get that, then don't worry. You'll figure it out! Thank you for looking at our page, please listen to our music and leave some comments, good or bad. Do you have any questions or comments for us? If so, you can get in contact with us by emailing us at, (BadTrip@rock.com). Thanks for your support and “God Bless Amerika!”
